Sales and the 'Talent Magnet'

A lot is written about being a ‘Talent Magnet’, either as a company, or as President. It’s all good practice – listen, mentor, reward, provide clear goals and career maps. Good practice for the employer, but what about the employee?

Healthy Chicks = Improved Performance

Breeder birds fed a diet containing Orgamin™ – a mixture of Promins formulated to match the bird’s requirements – produced more than 8 more viable chicks/breeder than those fed a control diet similar in every respect to the former except Orgamin™ was not present.

Exciting? But this was not just a one-off pen trial. This was from trials using a total of more than 100,000 breeders and the progeny totalling 7.5million chicks!

But what of the background to this work?

Over 10 years of extensive research and field trials have shown that such results can be consistently achieved by supplementing the existing diet with Orgamin™. More than £1,000,000 of investment has given these breakthroughs in both breeder performance and profitability from the resultant chicks.

Our researches into the mineral status of poultry have convinced us at UTO Ltd. that there is a high degree of deficiency in many of the essential trace minerals in both commercial poultry. Indeed investigations have proven that almost 70% of the stock we have researched has shown some degree of deficiency resulting in aggressive behaviour, reduction in egg numbers, fertility and hatchability.

Summarising the Results

Extensive commercial results have shown the following:

1. Trials from more than 100,000 breeders have convinced us that there is a commercially-viable benefit from the feeding of Orgamin™ in terms of hatchability

2. Those breeders are finding that up to 8.6 extra chicks/breeder are being reared. The results from these particular trials are shown below:

Orgamin™ introduced at 35 weeks of age
Average of 5 weeks before Orgamin™
Average of 5 weeks after Orgamin™
% chick culls
1.28
0.59
Extra viable chicks/100 eggs
5.25
Extra viable chicks/breeder
8.6
Value of extra chicks/breeder
£1.98
Net value of extra chicks/tonne of breeder feed
£43.90

3. Those chicks are showing increased body levels of vitamins, particularly vitamin E, as well as minerals, at day old. The results of this trial comprising 8000 breeders/treatment are shown below

A massive 225% more vitamin E in the chicks from Orgamin™-fed breeders!

- And this was replicated in a second trial in another flock!

4. Hence the breeders are absorbing more vitamins (and minerals) from their feed when fed Orgamin™ than control-fed birds (the vitamin status of the feed is exactly the same – Orgamin™ does not contain vitamins nor does it contain selenium). See the graph below to show how selenium levels in chicks can be enhanced

5. Hence the chicks are healthier and stronger throughout their life

6. More than 7.5million chicks across 40 different farms from breeders fed Orgamin™ are showing an average reduction in FCR from 1.845 to 1.755 (4.85%) and a reduction in mortality from 5.35 to 3.7%. See below the results for FCR reduction from the last 12 farm trials

7. The incidence of yolk sac, septicaemia and other infections in those chicks is reduced by 90

8. – And the profitability is improved by 18.4% - Below are the margin results from the last 12 farm trials

EnviroCyte™ – A Product with an Air of Health about it

New from UTO Ltd. – a unique blend of natural materials for fogging poultry and livestock housing. EnviroCyte™ is a unique blend of soluble bioflavonoids and fruit acids that cleans the environment of harmful pathogens and viral challenges

How is it used?

EnviroCyte™ is used in a diluted form through a standard fogging machine on a regular basis to fill the atmosphere of livestock houses with a fine spray or mist. This mist is harmless to stock and humans. It can also be used through the drinking water to good effect. The results from pig, broiler and turkey units have shown great benefits in improving the health of stock.

What are these results?

  1. Trials have shown a reduction in mortality from 1.45% to 0.07% in broiler chicks affected with E.Coli when EnviroCyte™ was administered via the drinking water and fogged through the air
  2. Commercial trials on pig units in Lincolnshire have shown an elimination of all in-feed medicines for over 12 months since the introduction of weekly fogging of the buildings suggesting EnviroCyte™ greatly reduces the number of airborne pathogens and viruses
  3. In turkey units a reduction in mortality of 33% of that of the control birds occurred following regular fogging of the units between 5 – 48 days. The effect of fogging in turkey poults is seen below

  4. The cost of fogging a typical broiler house is less than 0.15p/bird and the results of this were soundly economically viable
  5. The list of pathogens against which EnviroCyte™ is effective is extensive. This has been regularly tested under laboratory conditions using the BSEN 1276 test. These include E.Coli, Salmonella spp. Campylobacter spp., Listeria spp., yeasts, moulds and many others

Nvirox™, a revolutionary natural product from UTO Ltd., has proved 99.9998% effective in destroying the H5N1 virus. This work was done by a leading scientist at Retroscreen Virology laboratories at the University of London. Nvirox™ is an aerial decontaminant that is applied by the method of ‘fogging’ in all types of poultry houses. The spray treatment should be done regularly during the life cycle of the birds to ensure maximum protection from H5N1, the airborne ‘bird flu’ virus.

The results of these laboratory tests are shown in the table below:
