Food safety: encouraging producer confidence

The food chain has become the food safety chain. The publication of the European Union’s White Paper on Food Safety means that, for the first time, every aspect of food safety from farm to fork is linked, the emphasis firmly on the producer to set the standards that will be followed through the chain.

Introduced some 20 years ago, and pioneered by Danisco Animal Nutrition, feed enzymes are today one of the most exciting areas of animal nutrition.
