PEFC and FSC-certified recovered cartonboard and folding box board
With the objective to further increase transparency in the use of fibres throughout the whole chain of custody - from the tree to the folding carton - for our customers, converters, consumer goods manufacturers and retailers, MM Karton's seven cartonboard mills are certified according to the Programme for Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes (PEFC) and the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC).
This ensures that only raw materials of sustainable forest management are used, which are subject to challenging ecological, economical and social criteria and are supervised on a regular basis. Mayr-Melnhof Group is the largest producer of FSC and PEFC-certified recovered cartonboard and folding cartons in Europe.

Horst Bitterman is the Head of Marketing at MM Karton. He has ster of business administration, has years of experience in the packaging industry. Previously Horst worked in the retailing industry in different Senior Sales and Marketing roles.
Horst manages the company's market intelligence system and the classic advertising. He identifies new applications and markets and tailors the product and service range based on customer needs. He also coordinates the company's approach to KAM of FMCGs, pharmaceuticals and Retailer.
