Over recent years, the regulations within the food industry have changed rapidly. Circumstantial risks need to be excluded as early as possible in the food chain and at every possible occasion. Hygiene and recently temper evidence have become more important than ever before, all this to ensure that the consumer is served with top quality food and with no doubt about its purity.

These changes have also had an impact on bulk packaging of food and food ingredients. To improve hygiene, wooden pallets have been banned and corroding parts of packaging are currently under discussion. Of utmost importance is clean bulk packaging, inside as well as outside, to avoid cross-contamination.
